Just how old are you?

So today I felt older than dirt. Let me explain. I was driving Little P and Boots home from a quick run to the post office when we got into a conversation about computers. I was explaining that when I was her age computers were still a bit to big and expensive for normal home use, and now you can use your cell phone to surf the net. She cocked her head to the side and said "Were there TV's when you were a kid?" I stammered a bit and then realized that at 8 years old she must not have a real concept as to how long things have been around. So I explained that of course they were, they were widely owned by the 1950's. Not thinking that I needed to point out that in fact, I am not older than dirt and was born in 1976. She quickly smiled and said, "Oh, does that mean that you had cars then too?"

Until that point I had been feeling relatively good about my new appearance, and I was carded 5 times this past weekend visiting a casino. I mistakenly took that to mean that I appeared around or perhaps younger than 21. I am now thinking that it simply meant I looked shady!!!

However, while I was at the casino I spotted these,
Chocolate Dipped Peeps. Knowing my kids were going to love them I bought them some. Is there a bigger sugar rush than a sugary marshmallow peep covered in more sugar and topped off when chocolate? It's got to be better than espresso!

Anyhow, because the kids will be on Spring Break next week, I felt that the preschool teachers could use a little pick me up. They work hard, and it seems that their class grows more every other day so Boots and I packed up these to take to them.
He had so much fun picking out the bunny pens and the chocolate bunnies for inside. They were tucked full of goodies that they would be able to enjoy. They are really great ladies so I am more than happy to give them little gifts now and then.
