Naples

We have been busy here, as always. Painting Little P's room, and decorating for fall. Not to mention teaching Little P cooking lessons at her own request. She is doing so well, yesterday she made these!
Could she look any happier?
Over the weekend my best friend and I headed for Naples. We missed the Grape Festival last weekend but had heard of another small craft and antiques festival this past weekend. So we headed out on Sat. morning, laughing and talking and catching up. An hour and a half later figured out that something was very wrong. Not only were we not in Naples when it should have been a 45 minute drive but we were passing a place called The Bait Barn, next to a small sheep farm. We did get there eventually and it was an incredibly fun ride, I cannot tell you the last time I laughed that hard.

When we arrived we found a lot of little cabin like things. There was a lot to see, and here is some of it.

There was a glassblower there, he was making a pitcher at the time,
the other pieces he made were incredible, like this bowl.
There some food places, I do not eat fried food, so this place was definitely out!
This cracked me up, a little italian wedding soup with your taco, only $2.00, talk about multicultural....
We walked into one of the cabins and found our selves surrounded by these...
Apparently they are trolls of some kind with a history. Creepy!!!

And a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our nephew who turned one yesterday!!! We miss and love you so much Little Man!!!!! Isn't he just Gorgeous ???
Tune in tomorrow, our adventure continues......
